About Me!

Hello everyone! My name is Michael Zhang, and I am a sophomore major in Economics and minor in Film Studies (maybe Theatre Arts minor as well). I am from Shanghai, China, and I've lived in NYC for 5 years. I am currently living on campus, or I could say I haven't left campus for 456 days (from 1/1/2020 - today). I know it's a very long time (thanks to covid 🙄). However, I still did many meaningful things in this weird situation. During last summer break, I spent my entire summer with my friends, and it made me want to record this special lifestyle with a camera. So, I decided to make a vlog and recorded some joyful moments with my friends. Eventually, this vlog turns out really good, and I make it as a present for my girlfriend. I enjoyed creating and editing videos, and I want to pursue more professional skills and knowledge in video editing and the film industry. The minor in Film Studies probably is the best fit for me, so I am here 😁!
